Rex accepts freight directly on its Queensland routes. For all other routes on our network, you will need to consign the freight to Qantas Freight. The Queensland routes are divided up into the following sectors:
Northern 1 – Townsville – Winton – Longreach and return
Northern 2 – Townsville – Hughenden – Richmond – Julia Creek – Mount Isa and return
Gulf – Mount Isa – Doomadgee – Burketown – Mornington Island – Karumba – Normanton – Cairns and return
Western 1 – Brisbane - St George – Cunnamulla – Thargomindah and return
Western 2 – Brisbane – Brisbane West Wellcamp – Charleville – Quilpie – Windorah – Birdsville – Bedourie – Boulia – Mount Isa and return
Other routes – Cairns – Bamaga and return; Cairns – Mount Isa (direct) and return; Cairns to Townsville and return
