Rex welcomes Group Travel bookings.
Guidelines apply for Group Travel for children and for passengers with disabilities (please refer to the below).
For bookings of ten (10) or more passengers travelling together on the same flight itinerary, please call our Customer Contact Centre (CCC) on 13 17 13 for Group Travel booking information. All Group Travel bookings are subject to the Conditions of Carriage and the applicable Fare Rules which are agreed upon acceptance of the quote.
For Group bookings of less than 10 passengersv, please book via the Rex website. If there is a limited number of seats available in a certain fare category, please complete two separate bookings.
Group Travel – Children with Supervising Adult
For unsupervised children (children travelling without a parent or legal guardian), please refer to Unaccompanied Minor travel here.
For children travelling with supervision, please see below for required supervising adult ratios.
SUPERVISOR RATIOS
Adults must travel with and supervise Groups of Children travelling. For the purpose of ‘Supervised Group Travel’ children must be a minimum of 5 years old.
For safety reasons, the following conditions apply:
- 1 adult per 15 children
- Children must be aged between 5-11 years old inclusive
- The supervising adult must be:
- Over the age of 18 years
- Eligible to be seated in an emergency exit row (please click here to view emergency exit row seating requirements)

Group Travel - Carer Ratios for Passengers with Disabilities
At Rex we welcome Group Travel for disabled passengers. Where at least one member of the group requires assistance with eating, in the toilet or who is unable to understand crew instructions, for safety reasons, the following carer ratios apply:
- one carer for every three disabled passengers, or part thereof; groups where at least one member requires assistance with eating, in the toilet or who is unable to understand crew instructions, or
- one carer for every five disabled passengers or part thereof; groups where no member requires assistance with eating, in the toilet or who is unable to understand crew instructions.
