For passengers travelling on more than one flight on any day, there are minimum connection times that should be allowed for when booking flights. These connection times are based on the experience of our airport staff to ensure customers have enough time to move within and between terminals and check-in again where required.

The following minimum connection times apply for all airports:

• 20 minutes between Rex and Air Link flights in Dubbo
• 30 minutes between Rex flights (45 mins in Adelaide)
• 60 minutes between Rex and Virgin Blue or Aeropelican flights
• 90 minutes between Rex and Qantas and other domestic airlines
• Two hours between international flights (2 hours 30 minutes in Sydney)

ADELAIDE TRAVELLERS, PLEASE NOTE:
For onward connections to Rex or interline partners’ flights at Adelaide, passengers will proceed to T1 for check-in with their onward carrier and will have their baggage automatically transferred to the connecting carrier. Please note the minimum connecting time for Rex flights is 45 minutes and interline flights is 60 minutes. A list of Rex interline partners is available here.
Passengers transferring to other airlines, unless advised otherwise, will be required to collect their baggage from the ground floor baggage carousel in T1 before checking in with their onward carrier.

To ensure baggage is properly tagged for same-day onward connection, passengers must inform Rex at the time of booking and during check-in at the boarding port.
