Amend Flight Date & Time

You can amend your flight date & time if it is processed within the stipulated time frame as stated by the fare rules of your ticket.

In the event that your fare category is not available, you will have to pay the fare differential to access to the next best fare.

For Rex Flex & Rex Biz, these changes can be done at no charge. For all other fare types (Rex Saver, Net, Senior & Child), each change will be charged an admin fee. Currently there is a 25% discount on the admin fee that is being charged at the Customer Contact Centre if amendment is done online.

 

Cancel Flight for Future Use

All bookings can be cancelled for future use if it is processed within the stipulated time frame as stated by the fare rules of your ticket.


For Rex Flex & Rex Biz, your ticket can be cancelled for future use at no charge

Please note that all tickets are valid for 12 months from the date purchased, hence travel must be completed within one year of the original ticket issue date.

 

 

Cancel and Refund

This feature is only available for Rex Flex & Rex Biz bookings. Refund for cancellation is subject to an applicable administration fee. Your ticket must be cancelled within the stipulated time frame as stated by the fare rules of your ticket.

Currently there is a 25% discount on the admin fee that is being charged at the Customer Contact Centre if amendment is done online successfully.

Rebooking a flight that was cancelled for future use

All bookings that were cancelled for future use can be rebooked if it is processed within the stipulated time frame as stated by the fare rules of your ticket.

In the event that your fare category is not available, you will have to pay the fare differential to access to the next best available fare.

Please note that all tickets are valid for 12 months from the date purchased, hence travel must be completed within one year of the original ticket issue date. Flights not redeemed within this time will be forfeited

 

Amend Name

You can amend your name in the booking if it is processed within the stipulated time frame as stated by the fare rules of your ticket. The Rex Net fare does not allow for a name change. Please view the Rex fare rules to check if your fare class permits a name change.

Purchase Rextra Legroom

Rextra legroom seats are now available for purchase on your flight(s) at a cost of $4.80 per seat per sector, subject to a first-come-first-served basis and are subject to Terms and Conditions. Passengers intending to book Rextra Legroom seats must satisfy certain
Pre-requisites stipulated by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, before they are allowed to be seated at such areas.

 

Purchase Travel Insurance

Passengers are able to purchase insurance for their flights when amending bookings. Rex have partnered with Chubb Insurance Australia Limited (Chubb) to offer travel insurance.

For a little more than a cup of coffee in most cases, Rex Travel Insurance covers you for the following unforeseen circumstances:

- Missed connecting flight due to delay or cancellation of your Rex flight
- Forfeited pre-paid hotel accommodation expenses due to delay or cancellation of your Rex flight
- Forfeited Rex flight due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control
- Loss, accidental damage or delays to checked luggage while within Rex control
