The Education Programme for Infants and Children Inc. (EPIC) Auction Committee presents A Night in Shanghai, an oriental night of entertainment to be held from 6:30pm to midnight in the Clarendon Ballroom, The Langham Hotel, 1 Southgate Avenue, Southbank. Helen Kapalos will compere the evening, with music by The Frantics and Cameron Fisher from Changing Places Real Estate the Auctioneer for the event. Tickets are priced at $120 per person. Cystic Fibrosis Charity Auction, Wynyard TAS

The LJ Hooker network is a national supporter of Cystic Fibrosis Australia, with LJ Hooker offices throughout Australia committed to raising money for research into the condition. Finding a cure for this life-shortening condition necessitates massive funding. The LJ Hooker Wynyard team are hoping to help researchers get a little closer to finding that cure through their Charity Auction to be held at the Wynyard Football Club. A range of fabulous prizes will be auctioned off on the evening to raise valuable funds for Cystic Fibrosis research. 2008 Rural Critical Care Conference, Batemans Bay NSW

This annual event is now in its eighth year in NSW. This is a two day conference for hospital and pre-hospital clinicians working in rural emergency and critical care throughout NSW and eastern Australia. It features two full days of conference sessions to be held at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club.
